Marvel Studios avoids employing comic-accurate costumes in most of their films since they tend to look silly and don't translate well on screen. They do, however, find a way to incorporate the characters' true appearance from the comics through various easter eggs (the best example being WandaVision), which is always a lovely touch. Now, Guardians of the Galaxy actor Dave Bautista has expressed his wish for James Gunn to give Drax a totally new look for Volume 3 to reflect his comic book heritage. A fan on Twitter asked Dave whether he'd be interested in dressing up as his comic book counterpart in a costume similar to what he wore in the comics. Gunn joked that Drax's comic-accurate outfit is what the former WWE superstar usually wears in response to the post.
